We're at Faire Market This July — Introducing Our New Vase Line

We're joining Faire Market this July — and this time, we're bringing pieces we've never shown at a market before.

Faire Market is Faire's biannual online buying event, and the summer 2026 edition runs July 21–23, with Faire Insider members getting early access starting July 20. It's entirely online, so there's no booth to find and no travel involved — just our shop, live with a market promotion, alongside thousands of other independent brands. Faire matches brand discounts up to 5% during the event, which means retailers browsing our shop that week will see better pricing than usual on the full Sunsum® wholesale catalog.

What's New This Market: The Vase Line

The centerpiece of what we're bringing to this market is genuinely new — our first sculptural vase form, hand-cast the same way as the rest of our gypsum pottery, but built for a different kind of shelf presence than our trays and bowls.

The Stacked Bubble 3-Tier Vase is the piece we're most excited for retailers to see. Three descending spherical chambers stack vertically into a single vessel, finished in the same matte white gypsum as the rest of the collection, with a tapered neck opening sized for a single dried stem or a fuller reed diffuser arrangement. It reads as sculpture as much as function — the kind of piece a retailer can merchandise on its own, no styling required, and still have it hold its own on a shelf.

Alongside the vase, we're also bringing the Reed Diffuser Gift Set — the vase paired with a curated selection of our reed diffuser sticks, boxed as a single giftable unit. For retailers building out a gifting section or looking for a higher price-point bundle that doesn't require any additional merchandising work, this is built to go straight from case pack to shelf to register.

How We're Approaching This Market

Faire has run this event twice a year since 2020, and one thing that's become clear watching other brands succeed at it is that timing matters. Brands that do well tend to line their newest releases up with the market calendar rather than launching cold — which is part of why we chose this window to introduce the vase line rather than sitting on it until fall.

We're also planning to stay close to the shop for the full three days. Retailers who are new to Sunsum® sometimes have questions about lead times, minimums, or how the gift set ships — we'd rather answer those in real time than let a good conversation go cold. And once the market wraps, we'll be following up directly with anyone who places a first order, the same way we do outside of market weeks. A market discount can open a door, but the relationship afterward is what actually matters to us.

Why We're Doing This Now

We've grown slowly and deliberately — hand-casting pottery, blending fragrance oils, building our wholesale relationships one order at a time. Bringing a new product line to a market this size is a real step for us, and we don't take it lightly.
