Investing in Your Brand Starts With You

Before you can invest in your brand to improve the visibility of your business, you need to start investing in yourself. Familiarize yourself with the landscape of your industry, high-performing brands, and your current position. Determine what stops your brand from becoming more visible. Expose branding myths in your business and unapologetically develop a compelling brand story...if it were only that easy. The truth is many of us DIYers don't have a marketing and business background and are building businesses with limited resources. When I started to develop the brand, Sunsum Intention Candles, my biggest hurdle was my inner critic. Participate in a discussion on common brand myths, silencing your inner critic, and framing your brand with your aesthetic vision.
