Nature draws its lines with patience.
The Elm Leaf Tray is a hand-cast gypsum catchall shaped after the elongated form of an elm leaf — with a pointed tip, a prominent central vein, and branching secondary veins pressed deep into the surface. It is a quiet object. Flat, still, and shaped by something that took years to grow.
Use it to hold a ring, a stone, a dried petal, a key. Set it on a nightstand, a bathroom shelf, a vanity, or an entryway table. It pairs naturally with dried botanicals, live plants, or simply the surface it rests on. Its narrow elongated form fits spaces where a round tray would feel too wide.
Each piece is hand-cast individually, which means no two are exactly alike. Slight variations in texture, tone, and surface character are inherent to the nature of gypsum casting — and part of what makes your piece distinctly yours.
